Renowned French designer, Andrée Putman, (1925-2013) is one of the first French designers to have established themselves, since the 1980s, at the international level. She has signed her style clean and elegant hotels, restaurants and chic boutiques, but also ministers' offices and everyday objects.

The philosophy of the famous designer, attached to a certain Art of living, which is expressed by the sobriety, the search for the essential, the attention to detail, mastery of light and timelessness is found in the interior decoration of the Concorde.
The designer was fond of mixing eras and materials. Black, white, beige, gray, sometimes a Klein blue: the color scheme was sober.
We had the chance to present during the sales of the 3, 4 and 5 November 2016 many creations of Andrée Putman made for the Concorde:
- The two plates (auctioned 260 euros sale Thursday, November 3) and the cup and saucer (auctioned 600 euros Saturday, November 5) - PUTMAN's purest style expresses itself best through the age-old technique of porcelain: a simple deep blue thread adorns pieces with regular forms of immaculate white.
- The couches -In an elegant pearl gray, PUTMAN chose to cover the top of their back with white cotton covers. Awarded to 5830 euros to an American buyer at the Friday, November 4th sale, they fly to a new life in California.
- The dish service- Taking the principle of the contrast of deep blue with a pure white, PUTMAN goes further, with salerons whose triangular shape illustrates its sensitivity to geometric rigor. Linen napkins add a natural and authentic look to the set. The cutlery is signed Christofle house. This sober and refined set seduced the public and was awarded 2480 euros when sale on Saturday, November 5th.
- The carpet of the ground of Concorde (lot 909 sale of Saturday, November 5) Black and beige triangles intertwine to form an Art Deco frieze that animates the gray carpet.
